From maintaining the largest council owned Solar Farm in the UK with our partners at Greenheath Asset Management, to providing Site Support Services to a number of Main O+M Contractors, we carry out quarterly and annual inspections on site, including:

i. Site wide PPM works
ii. Corrective maintenance such as changing broken panels, fixing broken or damaged mountings, changing inverters and managing spare parts.
iii. Reactive maintenance includes callouts to investigate faults and carry out HV Switching Operations following outages etc
iv. Repairing Inverters
v. Site Inspection and Testing, such as IV-Curve Testing.

A number of sites required major refurbishment following damage. Tasks included “jungle busting” and greenery makeover, inverter replacement and repair, switchgear replacement, restringing and trenching out

We have recently carried out IV Curve Testing on sites including:

i. 2120 Strings on a 12.7MW site utilising String Inverters
ii. 288 strings on a 30MW site utilising DC Combiners and SMA Sunny Central Inverters
iii. 30 strings on a 125KW rooftop installation

As an HV SAP we frequently carry out planned switching operations up to 33KV as part of maintenance programs by DNO’s requiring site constraints etc.
We also provide an “On Call” service, to attend to outages etc, following network disruptions and G59 incidents.

As an NICEIC Approved Contractor, Roche Electrical Engineering undertakes the full range of Industrial and Commercial Installation work. From replacing ageing switchgear to installing new submains, section and distribution boards, final circuits for power, light and machinery. We provide a full Industrial Installation Service.

We also carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports and are fully qualified to the latest edition of the Wiring Regulations.
